Electricity

How does an electric circuit work? Why does copper conduct electricity and rubber does not? What is the difference between series and parallel circuits? And how are current, voltage and resistance related? Here you work out the basics of electricity step by step and practise on every page. In the exercises you build circuits yourself. For grades 5 to 8: first the circuit, then the quantities with Ohm's law. It is about direct current, as batteries supply it; alternating current comes later.

Learn with an AI tutor

An AI tutor is an AI assistant of your choice that accompanies you while you learn with this app. It explains the topic with the examples of the pages, gives you tasks from the app and helps you when you are stuck. You solve the tasks in the app: it checks your answers.

Choose your assistant here. It is then ready under the title of every page, and every exercise has the button “Help”. You can also switch it on under the title of a page.

You use your own account with the provider. The assistant is not offered by lernapps.net: lernapps only provides the content and the exercises.

Your choice stays on this device; only your click opens the assistant. Ask your parents or teacher whether you may use it.
